Rodriguesiathe scientific periodical of the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden was created in 1935, being published unceasingly since then. The continuous flow publication was adopted in 2019. The Journal publishes original scientific articles, reviews, opinions and scientific notes in various areas of plant biology (taxonomy, systematics and evolution, physiology, phytochemistry, ultrastructure, cytology, anatomy, palynology, development, genetics, reproductive biology, ecology, ethnobotany and phylogeography), as well as the History of Botany and topics related to Botanical Gardens.
